Big thank you to everyone who joined us this Tuesday 11/5 a free Sony FX9 Camera Workshop here at Band Pro's Burbank HQ. Sony's latest digital cinema camera, the FX9 combines a 6K Full Frame sensor with dual 800 / 4000 ISO, 15+ stops of dynamic range, integrated electronic variable ND filter, and 16 bit RAW capture, all in a compact camera body designed for maximum operator flexibility.
A detailed presentation on the FX9 was provided, followed by a Q&A and plenty of hands-on time.
Sony also brought along a selection of Full Frame lenses compatible with the Sony FX9 to test out, including the G and GM series lenses. Additionally, Band Pro set up a Sony VENICE fixed with the new Angenieux Optimo Prime 40mm for attendees to test.
