Thanks to everyone who joined us on Thursday, December 8th for Band Pro's One World Open House 2016! This year we celebrated French cinema, and we were joined by esteemed French Director & Cinematographer Pierre-William Glenn, AFC. Pierre-William is the former President of the French Society of Cinematographers, and known from his work on such films as Truffaut’s Day for Night, Coup de Torchon, and Small Change, among many others.

Also this year, an official presentation of IB/E Optics Raptor lenses was made to Imagecraft Productions. This is the first set delivered to a Hollywood rental house, with full production now ready to begin shipping worldwide. Read the full press release here for complete details.

Each December Band Pro’s Open House combines the best broadcast and cinema technology along with fine food, drink, and attendees comprising a who’s-who of the global cinematography community. Participant’s this year included Sony, Canon, RED, Angenieux, Zeiss, Fujinon, IB/E Optics, Sigma, AJA, 16x9, Inc., ORCA Bags and many more.
Each year we feature a cross section of the industry’s best new technology and this year will was no different. Attendees got hands-on with the latest offerings from over thirty of the top broadcast and cinema equipment manufacturers. Always a global event, One World continues to draw attendees and press from all over the world, and provides a great opportunity for networking and previewing the newest broadcast and digital cinema technology.
Band Pro's tent exhibition space featured a dynamic, interactive camera, recording, and workflow environment where products were displayed as they are actually used on set; together with dedicated Exhibitor Tables. New 4K footage from Sony, Canon, and RED, and loads of additional exclusive 4K content was screened. It was a perfect kickoff to the holiday season.
